Hello, my name is Christine Karron and I am an artist and illustrator based in Alberta, Canada.

Drawing and painting has always been my life. With some formal training, self-education and experience, between raising kids and taking care of my family, I have been working as a freelance artist for 20 years now. My artwork has been sold worldwide, published in books and magazines in Europe as well as in North America.

So far I have illustrated 6 children’s books and a few years ago I started the adventure of self-publishing my own colouring books.
I love to create fantasy illustrations and characters with a whimsical, narrative and humorous touch.
Working traditionally I use primarily coloured pencils, ink pens/markers and watercolour on paper, sometimes acrylic on canvas.

You can follow my work on Facebook and Instagram, or watch work-in-progress videos on my YouTube channel.

Locally my artwork is represented by the A+ Art Gallery & Unique Collection in Red Deer, Alberta.
