"In the process to free myself from realism, I am striving for a combination of design, symbolism, and spirituality. I am directed by the flow and composition of the shapes, colours, and design. Swirl shapes are symbolic for spirits of the universe - air and winds, connection between subject and surrounding, touching the soul and connecting with nature. 

Affected by bold colour palette, I like to play warm colours against the cool ones to reach an effect of light and glow. My paintings have a sense of purity and peacefulness, a theme of irregular order. I like to add fiction to real places and subjects. Based from nature, my subject matter are animals, people and places from my personal world."
